This is the exact color of the water at Blue Lagoon in the Bahamas. Its blue crystal clear water allows you to view tiny fish swimming around and even the translucent tiny jelly fish floating over the ocean.
I've always been attracted by and appreciate trying colorful cocktail cocktails like this one. I'm constantly curious in how they taste and how much satisfaction they can provide, just as I am simply looking at their colors.
This cocktail was inspired by Liquor.com while I was seeking for a blue cocktail with only a few ingredients that would definitely strike the spot. This recipe transports me to the calm waters of the Bahamas...as clear, easy, and soothing as it appears...enjoy!!!
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Blue curacao
4 oz Lemonade
1 Lemon slice or maraschino cherry for garnish
Instruction:
Pour vodka and blue curacao in a shaker with ice
Shake well & strain into ice filled highball glass
Top with lemonade, garnish and serve.
