Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Everyone knows that chocolate chip cookies are the most popular sort of cookie. It has all the flavor of a cookie with the richness and chunkiness of chocolate chips. Chocolate cookies are the perfect representation of love for every occasion...first, they are simple to create, second, they are full of sweetness with a pleasant taste, and last, just one piece of cookie provides the person who eats it a large amount of cheerfulness.

With its extra large size, additional bite and crunchiness of walnuts and oats, extra load of chocolates, and all the other extra goodness of spices, this recipe offers extra cheeriness for all season.

Makes 18 thick and large cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1.5 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 2 large eggs, room temperature

  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1.5 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/3 cup quick cooking oats

  • 2.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Let's bake cookies!

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper

  2. In a large mixing bowl, using a hand mixer, cream butter, brown and white sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.

  3. Add eggs one at a time into the butter mixture, beat until smooth

  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.

  5. Gradually stir flour mixture into the butter mixture.

  6. Fold in oats, chocolate chips and walnuts.

  7. Using your 1/4 measuring cup, scoop cookie batter, form into a ball, and place on prepared baking sheets around 2 inches apart. Slightly flatten top of cookie dough.

  8. Bake until edges are lightly golden, around 17-18 minutes.
